The most liberal cities are the hardest hit. NYC, LA, Minneapolis are perfect examples ("spare the rod, spoil the child..."). See:

Minneapolis Mayor is an idiot, NYCs isn't far behind. They have intentionally opened the door for paid non resident Antifa thugs to destroy property, and it set a disappointing standard. There are cities that stepped on the criminal activists hard at the onset, and have seen little damage comparatively. It will be interesting to see the winners and losers in the end. It will create a list of places not to live.

This, along with the virus, will destroy most locally-owned businesses, and the big chains were already in trouble. If I were on the board of one of these chain stores, I would be on tv announcing that the stores, along with the jobs, are gone forever. IOW, if you set your bed on fire, expect your ass to get burned.

Seems the dem/lefty/socialist/anarchists have all banded together to inflict the utmost pain, misery and destruction that they can manage. Their derangement and lust for power has gone beyond any sane bounds and it’s readily apparent they have committed to total warfare damn the consequences or damage. Even if the good folks prevail the damage will be incalculable. I’m strongly suspicious the left is pretty much at Kamikazi level now.....

Sadly I"ve seen a number of the videos and the police come off really bad. Is it their training? If it is , it really is bad. On the other hand why do black people seem to fight the cops for seemingly mundane arrests?
If you were a cop in the "Old Days" you expected to get your bell rung once in a while. Part of the job........... And when you met with resistance to an arrest. You clocked the suspect with your billy or sap. It subdued them and yet "Did Not Kill Them" Can't cops hit a suspect now? Is their only recourse to taser or shoot them? And why do so many blacks resist arrest. ??? Seems to me there is more than one problem to this............. I recently read about Camden NJ and how they quelled a very violent city. They re-instated neighborhood foot patrols............. Cops know the neighborhood, the neighborhood know the cops. Protect and Serve with a little common sense prevailed.

The longer this goes on, the crazier it gets. There are now too many "coincidences" with the timing of these events. To me, it's pretty clear that the Democrats and the Chinese are colluding to put a puppet President in the White House.

I think L Frank Baum was a prophet - I mean, we've got a cowardly lion as Senate majority leader, the Wicked Witch of the West* and her flying monkeys in the House, and an empty suit who sings "If I only had a brain!" while he runs for President.

I think you’ve nailed it sir. I think maybe many of our great fiction writers are prescient. Robert Heinlein and “The Crazy Years” seems to have foreseen so much.
