I dont know if its been brought up here before, but, I just watched it this weekend and enjoyed the heck out of it. Eastwood, like Duvall, seems to play the same character regardless of the role. Ornery and cantankerous as hell. Full of one liners, and an interesting twist at the end. Academy Award material it aint, but if you've never seen it, its well worth the viewing....dusty

Saw it a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The scene with Clint and the barber trying to teach the kid about how to relate to other guys had me in stitches.

same here. i used to go with my dad to the barber or the gas station and i can recall them talking to each other that way. not quite as descript but still pretty risque for a little kid to hear.

i loved torino. one of the guys at work seen it and told me the scene with him rescuing the chinese(korean?) girl from the gang bangers and saying "you know when you come across somebody and you wonder if you really should have @#%ed with them, well , thats me!" he told me that is what i will be like when i get older. i guess its a good thing.

great , thats another movie i will have to see again. how am i gona get any work done on that honeydoo list?

Definitely a great movie...loved it. Eastwood just keeps getting better. Obviously not the same as early Dirty Harry or his westerns but still just great characters.
